Claudio Trevisan cause of death: What happened to Martina Trevisans father?

The father of Martina Trevisan, who is currently ranked 28th in the world and the top women’s tennis player in Italy, Claudio Trevisan, died last year, Friday, November 18. He was 75 years old.

A former soccer player who was born in Cervignano del Friuli, he played for Sambenedettese and Mantova and reached Serie B. He also won the 1970–1971 championship with Mantova. Additionally, he competed in almost 120 games in Serie C1 and C2 (with Montevarchi, Cosenza, Fano, and Modena) and won the Serie D title at Montevarchi.

He also participated in tennis in Pontedera during the 1968–1969 season, where he stayed historically connected to the city’s Tennis Club, which conveyed a sympathy message via social media.

Martina, Matteo, who is also a tennis player and was ranked first in the world in the junior division in 2007, and Claudia are the three children that Claudio Trevisan is survived by.

Cause of death

Trevisan passed on as a result of a long-term illness that had gotten worse.
